For detailed description of a certain tool window click it and press F1. See Switching Between Windows for more information about tool windows. Docking Tool WindowsTo dock a tool window, drag it from its current location towards the document area or another tool window, if you want to dock it to its edge. Drop points will appear. Then drop the window on the required drop point to dock the tool window.
Placing Tool Windows to the Document AreaTo place a tool window to the document area, activate it and choose Tabbed Document from the Window menu, or right-click its title and choose Tabbed Document from the popup menu. To make it dockable again, activate it and choose Dockable from the Window menu, or right-click its title and choose Dockable from the popup menu. |
Document area size can be manipulated by resizing docked tool windows. To free more space for documents, you can put docked tool windows to auto-hide mode by clicking the pushpin icon on the title bar of the window. You can arrange documents in tab groups in document area. To create a tab group or move document to another tab group just drag a document to a drop point. Dragging a document to an arrow drop point will create new tab group; dragging it to the tab group central drop point will move the document to this tab group. To know more about document tab groups read the Working with Document Tab Groups topic. For more information about documents visit the Managing Documents topic. |
