With Entity Developer you can use external complex types in your model. These are complex types that are already defined in your project and should not be generated by Entity Developer. When creating such a complex type in your project, you need to enter the full name including the namespace, containing the complex type. To define a complex type as external, select the Is External check box in its editor or set its Is External property value to True in the Properties window.
