By default, Entity Developer collects anonymous usage statistics in order for us to better know the needs of our users and improve our products and make them more useful. The collected data includes the number of created models, model ORMs used, and such model statistics as total number of model entities, complex types, associations, etc. The statistics also includes the number of times user runs Update Database, Update Model, and Generate Script wizards, and the number of times user retrieves data via Entity Developer. This information will help us to understand what functionality is most needed for our users and to prioritize our new features and improvement of old features.
Please note that these collected statistics are completely anonymous, and they don't include any information that is personal and can be linked to a specific user. We do not collect file paths, model object names, queries, or any identifying information.
At any time you can disable sharing your anonymous usage statistics in Entity Developer options. For this, perform the following steps.
1. | On the Tools menu click Options. The Options Dialog Box is displayed. |
2. | Switch to the Environment -> General page. |
3. | Clear the Automatically send usage statistics check box and click OK. |
