Initializes a new instance of the SqlParameter class with the parameter name, data type, width, and source column name. For internal use.

Parameters

parameterName: The name of the parameter.
dbType: One of the SqlType values.
size: The maximum size, in bytes, of the data within the column.
sourceColumn: The name of the source column.

Example

The following example creates a new SqlParameter and sets some of its properties.

{
  SqlParameter myParameter = new SqlParameter("DName", SqlType.VarChar, 15, "DName");
  myParameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input;
}
