Initializes a new instance of the SqlParameter class with the parameter name and data type.

Syntax

Parameters

parameterName: The name of the parameter.
dbType: One of the SqlType values.

Example

The following example creates a new SqlParameter and sets some of its properties.

  myParameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input;
