Database Property (PgSqlConnection)

Gets or sets the name of the database to be used once a connection is open.

Property Value

The name of the database to be used once a connection is open. The default value is an empty string ("").

Remarks

When a value is assigned to this property, the PgSqlConnection is closed and reopened.

If the database parameter is not specified in the ConnectionString, it is assumed that name of the database is same as user name.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
