FailoverRetries Property (SqlShimCommand)

Gets or sets the number of retries to perform a command if it failed because of the exception, that indicates that the reason of the failure may be temporary.

Property Value

The number of retries to perform a command if it failed because of the exception, that indicates that the reason of the failure may be temporary.

Remarks

If a command failed because of the exception that indicates that the reason of the failure may be temporary, for example, the target service is busy, SqlShimCommand waits for some time and retries the command for the specified number of times.
