Devart offers the Developer, Server, and OEM licenses of dotConnect for DB2. The free trial gives you access to the Developer license for evaluation.

Free trial

The trial period starts on the day you activate the product.

Your product licenses

You can manage your product licenses on the Customer Portal on the Devart website. Sign in using the email address and password you provided when you purchased the product or downloaded the trial version.

On the Customer Portal, you can:

View details of your purchased or trial products.
Check the number of licenses and activations.
See the hardware ID of the machine where each license is activated (generated from BIOS, CPU, and HDD parameters).
Deactivate licenses or extend active subscriptions.

You can also deactivate a license or extend a subscription using the Customer Portal.

If you deactivate a product, it cannot be used until it is reactivated. Deactivation also frees the license for use on another machine.

Bundle

dotConnect for DB2 is distributed as a bundle of components. Your activation key unlocks all the products included in the bundle, except for Entity Developer, which requires a separate license.
