Deactivation

You can deactivate dbForge Data Compare for SQL Server in one of the following ways: directly within the application, through the Customer Portal on the Devart website, or via the command line.

An internet connection is required for deactivation.

Note

If you deactivate Data Compare for SQL Server, it can’t be used until reactivated.

Deactivate in the application

1. Select Help > Deactivate.

2. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate on the Customer Portal

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

2. On the Products tab, hover over the product and click Details.

3. Select the license.

4. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate via the command line

1. Open Command Prompt.

2. Navigate to the folder where the product executable file is located.

The default path is C:\Program Files\Devart\dbForge Data Compare for SQL Server.

3. Run the following command.

datacompare /deactivate
