Deactivate dbForge Data Compare for Oracle

You can deactivate dbForge Data Compare for Oracle in the application, in the Customer Portal, or from the command line.

An internet connection is required for deactivation.

Note

After deactivation, you can’t use dbForge Data Compare for Oracle until you activate it again.

Deactivate in the application

1. On the menu bar, select Help > Deactivate.

2. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate in the Customer Portal

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

2. On the Products page, hover over the product and click Details.

3. Select the license you want to deactivate.

4. Click Deactivate.

Deactivate from the command line

1. Open Command Prompt.

2. Navigate to the installation folder of dbForge Data Compare that contains the datacompare.com executable.

The default path is C:\Program Files\Devart\dbForge Data Compare for Oracle.

3. Run the following command:

datacompare.com /deactivate
