Choose Closing Behavior Dialog Box

This dialog is displayed when closing Code Compare.

Note that behavior of this dialog differs depending on whether you work with the standalone application or Visual Studio add-in.

In the standalone application, this dialog box offers hiding Code Compare to system tray.

In the Visual Studio add-in, you can choose to close comparison documents only and minimize Visual Studio.

Remember my choice

If you select the Remember my choice check box, this prompt will not appear in the future.

Hide

Click this button to hide Code Compare to system tray.

Minimize

Click this button to minimize Visual Studio.

Close

Click this button to close the entire application.

Cancel

Click this button to return to the application without closing any of the documents.

You can enable or disable the display of this dialog by setting the appropriate value of the Show dialog on closing check box on the General page of the Code Compare options.
